Phantom Vs. Raoul? [: Phantom of the Opera [2004]?

Okay, I just watched Phantom of the Opera for the first time today... And I can't believe Christine Deea chose Raoul?! Like what was going throught her head. In personal opinion, since the emotions of the characters were convied through the songs- I think that the 'Phantom', Erik, had a lot more depth- For his love of Christine. He had some serious issues too, but it didn't really mean that he wasn't worth any love. I think if Christine had never seen his face and Raoul never came into the picture, she would have been with Erik. I seriously think she chose the wrong guy.
