Yes you will want a amp that is rated 900rms anything more wont hurt when you first start using it but in the long run it will eventually wear down the voice coil the magnet etc... rms rating is what a speaker or subwoofer can run at continuously. The peak is what it will reach for a short period before blowing basically.
