How's the drive from Los Angeles to Vegas?

There are some stops along the way, but as far as scenic goes you're out of luck. You will be traveling through desert and run down towns. Bring alot of snacks in the car and a cooler with drinks if possible. This will make it so you won't have to stop as much and can just get this painful drive over with :)
